Installations for vacuum conditioning are available from various manufacturers as batch systems or as continuous systems. The batch installations generally consist of a cell into which one to three rack trolleys can be introduced. The vacuum pump and the control unit are above or beside the cell. Continuous systems exist, for example, for the production of toast bread in connected tins. Here, the toast bread is transported directly from the oven via conveyor belts into individual chambers of a vacuum conditioning installation, cooled and then removed afterwards.
